We want you to love every piece you get from Silk & Lace, but we totally get that sometimes the fit or the vibe just isn't what you expected. Since we’re a small, independent studio, we have a straightforward policy to keep things moving smoothly for everyone.

The Essentials:

• 30-Day Window: You have 30 days from the date of delivery to get your return started.
• No Restocking Fees: We believe in upfront transparency, which means you will never be charged a restocking fee for any eligible return.
• No Final Sale Exclusions: Unless explicitly marked otherwise at the absolute time of a unique vault event, we do not restrict standard boutique items as "final sale." We want you to feel confident trying our pieces!
• Original Condition: To be eligible for a return, your item must be unworn, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it.
• Tags On: Please keep those tags attached! Items returned without the original tags cannot be accepted.

How Returns Work:

• Return Shipping: Return shipping fees are provided and paid by the customer. You can use whichever carrier you prefer, but we definitely recommend getting a tracking number just to be safe! We hope to be able to offer completely free returns and exchanges shipping in the future like the big guys—it's my goal for the end of 2026—however, as of right now it's not possible without having to raise prices (and then it wouldn't be free, right?).

Need a different size? (Exchanges)

If the piece is perfect but the fit is off, we’d love to help you get the right size.

• The Swap: For exchanges, we ask that you cover the initial return shipping to get the item back to us.
• Our Treat: Once we receive your return and verify its condition, we will ship out your new size or replacement at no cost to you. It’s our way of making sure you end up with a piece you actually love.
• A Note on "Original Designs": Because our original Silk & Lace designs are made in small, intentional batches, we can only offer exchanges while supplies last. If your size is out of stock, we’ll work with you to find a solution or issue a refund.

Refunds & Support:

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll drop you an email to let you know it arrived. If approved, your refund will be processed back to your original payment method automatically.

• "The Lab" Campaign Protection: Because our custom design funding campaigns are launched in limited, intentional production runs, a full refund will be automatically issued back to your original payment method for any "Lab" backing that does not meet its final campaign backer goal. Your support is completely risk-free!
