This is probably the widest-ranging collection in the shop, on purpose. A floral lace midi with an asymmetrical hem is built for an afternoon that stays about the same temperature all day. The Crystal Dust rhinestone gown is built for one specific kind of night, and we priced and constructed it accordingly: more boning, more hand-finishing, a slit cut higher than most of what else we carry.
We get a lot of questions about which dresses run more casual versus more formal, so here's the honest breakdown. Cotton and viscose pieces with floral prints, smocking, or puff sleeves are your everyday, cottagecore-leaning options. Mesh, rhinestone, and beaded pieces are built for something you're getting dressed up for, like a wedding, a resort trip, or a night out, and they're constructed with more structure underneath to hold their shape through a full evening.
Skirts in this collection tend to follow the same two lanes. If you're after something you can wear to work and then out to dinner, look for our midi lengths in cotton blends. If you want something with more presence, the mesh and beaded pieces lean coastal-glam rather than boho-casual.
Fit runs true across most of the collection, though the more structured formal pieces, anything boned, mesh, or rhinestone, tend to run slightly smaller through the bust. We call that out directly on the product page rather than leaving you to guess from the size chart alone. Given how different the fabrics are across this collection, we'd rather over-explain fit on a single listing than have you order something that doesn't work and deal with a return.
