Our Story

Some people build a brand around a product. I built mine around a feeling.

To me, your everyday clothes should feel as smooth and effortless as silk — but made with the same obsessive attention to detail as a piece of fine lace. That's the standard I hold every single item in this shop to, whether it came from an independent designer I discovered in the Los Angeles Fashion District or from my own design studio.

I started Silk & Lace by sourcing from independent designers across the U.S. because I believe in supporting small creators. I still do. But in 2026, I took the next step and launched my own line — because some ideas just need to exist in the world.
When I design my own pieces, I personally vet every factory I work with for fair labor certifications and safe working conditions. Over the years I've built real relationships with my factory representatives — they're like pen-pals to me — and I take genuine pride in knowing exactly who is making your clothes.

I intentionally keep stock levels low and variety high. You won't find mass-produced basics here. You'll find pieces that make you stop scrolling.

That philosophy led to the creation of The Lab — my personal design space where those pen-pal relationships become something tangible. These are original Silk & Lace pieces, designed here and produced in tiny, intentional batches. Many are available for pre-order first, because I'd rather make 20 perfect things than 2,000 mediocre ones. It's slow fashion, on purpose.

Thank you for being part of it.
