Collection: Pants

Pants are the unglamorous backbone of getting dressed, and we treat them that way: not as an afterthought, but as the piece that decides whether the rest of an outfit actually works. This collection runs from wide-leg linen trousers with a smocked waist to fleece pajama pants with a botanical print, because some days call for real pants and some days genuinely don't.

Day to Night, Or Neither

Pants Built for Real Days, Real Weather

We split this collection roughly in half between daytime pants and pieces meant for actually staying home, and that distinction matters more than most stores let on. The wide-leg linen and denim trousers, like the duck-print ruffle hem and the Aztec corduroy flare, are all built with an elastic or smocked waistband, so they photograph structured but wear soft, without an actual zipper fly digging in after a big lunch.

The pajama and lounge pants are a different category entirely, and we don't try to dress them up as anything more than they are. Fleece and cotton blends, drawstring waists, prints that lean playful rather than polished. The colorful cat print pair is genuinely one of our best-selling items in the whole store, and it's not close. If you're shopping this collection for actual daywear, skip past the pajama section. If you're shopping for something to wear on a Sunday that never involves leaving the house, that's exactly where to look.

Fabric weight is worth paying attention to here more than fit, since most of these pants run true to size with a forgiving, elastic-friendly waist. Corduroy and denim pieces run slightly heavier and warmer, which matters if you're deciding between the flare corduroy pair and a lighter linen trouser for the same occasion. We list fabric composition on every product page for exactly this reason. It tends to tell you more about how a pair will actually feel than the photo does.

New prints rotate through the wide-leg and pajama styles fairly often, so if a specific print catches your eye, it's usually worth grabbing it while it's listed rather than waiting on a restock in the same fabric.
